From a document, whether it’s issued or a draft, we can make sure our costs, expenses, and profits are not shown. This is useful if we’re preparing a quote for a client and we don’t want them to see our internal costs. To do this, inside the document we’ll see a dollar sign ($).
This is how we’d see it once it’s hidden. We’ll also know because the dollar sign will be pink.
