If we want to change the owner of a vessel because it has been sold or a new contact or an existing contact takes over the vessel, we can change the owner within the vessel's file.
In the Customer section we make the change of owner and from that moment any document or action that is made on the vessel will be charged to the new owner.
This does not mean that everything that has been done on that vessel with charge to the previous owner will be deleted, but it will be stored in the file of that Contact until the date of the change so that traceability will not be lost after the change of ownership on the work done on that vessel.
